Acting on behalf of the landowners of land off Doncaster Road (to the rear of properties on Meadow Croft) we wish to inform you that a full planning application will shortly be submitted to Selby District Council for the development of 14 dwellings.
The size and type of dwellings varies, with a mix of 2, 3 and 4 bed family properties in a range of 5 house types including terraced and detached dwellings ranging from 1.5 – 2 storeys. Eight of the properties have garages and off-street parking, and six properties have off-street parking spaces.
The proposed dwellings will be accessed from Meadow Croft and Doncaster Road via private roads, with two accesses off Meadow Croft, one serving one property and the other serving five properties. Two private drives are proposed off Doncaster Road serving three and five properties. An area of open space is proposed at the junction of Meadow Croft and Doncaster Road in the south western corner of the site.
The proposals will seek to deliver 14 homes, 6 of which will be affordable dwellings in line with the Council’s 40% affordable housing requirement.
Existing landscape features will be retained, including the existing hedge fronting Doncaster Road. As a local resident you will be made aware of the application by Selby Council and will have the opportunity to submit comments directly to the Council.
