Background:

LAND TO THE NORTH OF ST MICHAEL’S AVENUE, NEW HARTLEY –  REVISION TO DEVELOPMENT PLANS ORIGINALLY SUBMITTED.
LPA PLANNING APPLICATION REF: 15/01182/FUL & APPEAL REF: APP/P2935/W/16/3164573

You may be aware that the application to develop this site was refused permission in June 2016 by Northumberland County Council. This is now being considered by the Planning Inspectorate through a planning appeal.

In the course of this process Barratt David Wilson Homes North East have submitted to the Planning Inspectorate and Northumberland County Council a set of plans using the most up to date house types for consideration as part of the above appeal process.

The house types previously submitted as part of the refused application are now outdated and this house type substitution brings the appeal proposals up to date with the latest 2016 Barratt David Wilson Homes houses on offer.

Please note these latest plan revisions relate purely to the house types proposed on site; there have been no changes to the overall scheme layout.  It is also stressed that the substitution does not impact on the overall number of houses proposed, the housing mix or onsite affordable housing provision.

We have also requested that Northumberland County Council make these documents available on the Council’s Public Access system under the application reference 15/01182/FUL.

All comments received by Barratt David Wilson Homes, Johnson Mowat and Northumberland County Council will be provided to the Planning Inspectorate for consideration.

The full suite of revised documents, including the Design and Access Statement describing the development and an illustrative planning overlay layout showing there is no change to the original planning layout is available on the links below:
