This consultation is now closed. Taylor Wimpey UK Ltd and Linden Homes would like to thank all those who contributed their views and ideas. These have now been considered against the proposals prior to the planning application being submitted.
Taylor Wimpey UK Ltd and Linden Homes intend to submit an outline planning application for the residential development of land south of Penny Pot Lane, Harrogate to accommodate up to 350 dwellings.

You will see that two vehicular access points are proposed, one from Penny Pot Lane in the north of the site and the second on the western boundary from Oaker Bank (B6161).
The proposal also includes an area of woodland to the west of the site which would connect with the Harrogate Borough Council Green Infrastructure Opportunities Area Corridor.
It would also retain the green corridor in the south of the site incorporating the existing watercourse and vegetation.
A new footpath and cycle link would be provided with the potential to connect to the existing Public Right of Way (PROW), cycle and bridleway network.
