Following on from Weavers’ View, Phase 1 of the development, Yorkshire Housing is seeking planning permission for 147 new market sale and affordable homes on a site to the south-west of Silsden.

The public consultation runs until 27th June 2025. However, the site will remain live throughout the planning process so that you can contact the project team if you need to.

In summary, the proposal will consist of:

• 147 high quality, affordable and sustainable new homes
• New public open spaces
• Connection to the canal towpath
• Diversion of a claimed public right of way to a more pleasant route
• High quality home design with sustainability in mind, and 
• The rural character and function of Sykes Lane being maintained.
