Further to our last public consultation event on 22nd July 2025, and on behalf of our client, Bellway Homes, we are pleased to invite you to a second public consultation event. This event will provide an opportunity to discuss revised proposals that have been developed with regard to the comments previously received.
A Site Location Plan is provided below. The proposed development parcel is defined by the red line with the blue land being used for additonal landscaping and ecological enhancements. Land between the red line and Auckley does not form part of the planning application.
We would welcome your thoughts on what is important to the local community and how this scheme can contribute positvely to the built form of Branton.
It is antcipated that the proposal could provide: -
- A diverse housing mix, comprising market and affordable homes.
- A new vehicular access from the B1396.
- Extensive green space, including public open areas and deep landscape
buffers. - Significant landscaping buffers along the sites southwestern and northeastern boundaries.
- A layout has been designed to avoid development in Flood Zones 2 and 3
- A network of cycle and pedestrian routes to provide connectons across the site and to the surrounding area.
- Significant areas of Public Open Space (POS); and,
- Sustainable Drainage systems.
Bellway Homes are commited to ongoing engagement with the local community. A community consultation event will be held ahead of the Applicaton submission. The details are as follows:

Opportunity will be provided on the day to speak with the development team and representatives of Bellway Homes. Details of the Illustrative Masterplan will be available at the exhibition event and uploaded afterwards for comment.
